Delete your ShoppingLite account

You can delete your ShoppingLite account and the personal information linked to it at any time, from the app or by email — you do not need the app installed to ask.

Before you delete: Tools Pro

Deleting your account does not cancel a Tools Pro subscription, and Google Play would keep charging for it. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Option 1: in the app

  1. Open ShoppingLite and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile picture at the top right to open Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Read the summary, then type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. If it has been a while since you signed in, the app asks you to sign in again first, to make sure it is you.

Option 2: by email, without the app

Email support@shoppinglite.in from the email address of your ShoppingLite account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Requests from other addresses cannot be verified, so we reply asking you to write from the account’s address.

Email a deletion request

We confirm by email when it is done. We aim to reply within three working days and to complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address and profile photo, from our server and from Google Firebase.
  • Your ShoppingLite sign-in, on every device.
  • The link between your account and your phones, and your saved profile details.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Purchase records (product, order number, dates and amount) are kept without your name or email where we need them for accounting, tax, handling refunds and preventing fraud. After deletion they are no longer linked to you and cannot be restored to another account.
  • Security logs are deleted automatically after 90 days, and server request logs after about 30 days.
  • Usage and crash records that are not linked to your name or email may be kept as described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete those too in the same email.
  • Files you saved with the Tools stay on your phone, where only you control them: delete them from your Files or Gallery app, and uninstall the app to remove what it stored on the phone.

Delete some data, keep your account

To delete particular information — for example usage records linked to your device — without deleting your account, email support@shoppinglite.in from your account’s email address and say what you would like removed.
